We officially launched Moyer Financial Services in January of 2013 to serve the often missed Accounting needs of Entrepreneurs, Creatives, and Small Business Owners. Entering our 5th year, we’ve found ourselves blessed with 8 teammates in addition to Carla and I as partners. Together, and a husband/wife team, we opened the doors to our new physical office in June of 2014 right off Main Street in Historic Franklin, Tennessee.
What makes MFS different? Mainly – we don’t fit most of the CPA stereotypes. A visit to our office finds comfortable furniture instead of a conference table. As I like to say, “We just come to the conversation as honest people truly looking for ways to help others. And I think people are smart enough to recognize a sales pitch or inauthentic angles. They just want ‘real’.”
In terms of services, MFS can offer as much or as little as a business owner needs – from basic bookkeeping to full accounting management, from Quickbooks training to Launch Strategies for start-ups. In the tax arena, sales tax, payroll taxes, quarterly estimated payments, and personal and business annual tax returns can easily be taken care of utilizing Carla’s nearly 15 years of Tax CPA experience.

Brian Moyer heads the Business Management and Accounting side of MFS. His 15 years of experience in multiple business environments prepare him to help entrepreneurs of all genres.
Carla heads the Tax side of MFS. Her experience with a CPA firm for over 10 years allows her to handle all personal and business tax needs.
Barry joined MFS in 2016. He brings with him a background of over 10 years in the banking industry, adding to his value as a member of the team. His experience includes Account Management, Personal Banking, and Business Bookkeeping.
Jessa brings over 15 years of customer service and accounting experience to the MFS team.
Her strength of managing details proves invaluable as she navigates the sometimes many moving parts with businesses. She enjoys serving the financial operational needs of her clients and exceeding their expectations on a daily basis.
Jenna handles all aspects of her Client’s financial operations. With a Business Degree and over 10 years in the Commercial Restaurant Supply industry, her experience includes corporate financial forecasting and budgeting, as well as large-scale project management. She can apply big picture ideas to even the smallest of businesses.
